Time was 12:30pm – 5:00pm at the Wayzata Boat Dock with a party at Lord Fletchers following. Jay was selling cars at Richfield Bloomington Honda at the time so many of the used car guys showed up including: Steve Moldo, Gary Brendle, Carlo Macy, Steve Erikson and many others. Rock n Roll, Top 40, Dance, Tropical, Beer, Bratwursts, Ribs, Cigars, Good Pot, sexy babes in bikinis, raft up with other boats. Etc. This was basically the last day of Jay's marriage as his wife Judy felt a little insecure and out of place on a wild yacht party. It was shitloads of FUN!!!

1996 – 8/23/1996. Kike Conga Live (Enrique Fonseca) we hired a live Conga Player from Puerto Rico to come and jam along with the music. The performance did not draw a crowd whatsover.

1996 - 8/9/1996. Gran Concurso de Baile. (dance contest) This was a latino dance with a dance contest and performances incorporated into it. Pedro Fulgencio and many others did performances. The turnout was not quite what we would have hoped for.

MC Victor El Peruano & D.J. Salsero. Jay's cousin Jesse Juen handled security operations for the event. The event had close to 200 people present and we actually made some money with this event.

1995 – 5/6/1995. Fiesta Latina en Orlando 1995. This event was held at the 4th Fighter Group Restaurant in Orlando, Florida on East Colonial Drive & Rickenbacker Rd. It was dubbed as a fundraiser for the South American rainforest but the event ended up not being a money maker. We hired D.J. Leone and did a lot of advertising on 11Q Spanish Radio and passed out of 6000 flyers. Tickets were $7. advance $10. at the door. Event was well received and was held both indoor and outdoor by the fireplace. The event featured: Merengue, salsa, pop, cumbia, and rap. The dj was Sonido Magico and the Copa Mundial was telivised on a big screen tv and latino videos on another tv. Cover charge was $6. advance $8. at the door. The attendance was close to 100 people. This was before the days of internet so needless to say we did not sell too many advance tickets. The event started at 8:00pm and was slated to go until 1:00am but we had no idea that this would be the evening when O.J. Simpson would end up being chased down the freeway in a white Ford Bronco. The whole room of people flocked to one of the tv's to watch the O.J. Ordeal unfold. After about an hour of the O.J. Thing we all drank up, danced, had a great time and ended up losing about $400. as the bar minumum was $1000. and we only brought in a little over $600. in alcohol sales. Certainly an interesting first event.
